CPAGB, award-winning photographer with a passion for landscape photography and a growing following on YouTube.
With his very understanding wife Mrs. C (aka Denise Compton) they get out and about as much as they can, walking hills, following rivers standing in lakes, a woodland or beach while documenting all their travel adventures for you. The plan to encourage others to get out and take photos or just to enjoy what we have on offer. Mainly getting out at weekends due to a full time day job. Paul's aim is to record and document his photographic life and journey as it grows.
Paul finds a lot of inspiration from landscape photography books, mostly of the UK. He does like to look at other peoples' photos finding new places to visit with his Dyslexia he would rather look at images that words.
Paul has had images published, and finds this is a very rewarding. Getting his photo in the Landscape Photographer of the Year was in fact a very proud moment, other publications have been The Photographers Guide to Snowdonia & North Wales, eMinimalism and the Black & White magazine to name a few, something i hope you all get to discover someday. Another of Paul's highs was winning Clubman of the Year in his local camera club, with many 1st 2nd & 3rd certificates for other images in club competitions. The biggest award was his CPAGB (Credit of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain).
Paul has been a member of photographic clubs for years and had a camera in his hand since his first school trip to London and taking his first ever photos. Paul doesn’t only take landscape photos, he has shot weddings, people/portraits and sports from equestrian to fast moving motorsport with the MSV.
